KKB Partner Suzan Onel will be moderating a panel at the Food and Drug Law Institute’s (FDLI’s) 2020 Annual Conference on October 7, 2020. Ms. Onel’s panel, “FDA Emergency Use Authorizations (EUAs): Authorities, Enforcement Discretion Policies, and What Happens Next,” will consider FDA’s use of EUAs during the COVID-19 pandemic, limitations on FDA authority, and what happens to products that received EUAs after the emergency designations are lifted. She will be joined by panelists, Timothy Stenzel (Office of In Vitro Diagnostics and Radiological Health, CDRH, FDA), Cathy L. Burgess (Alston & Bird), Ryan Murray (Eli Lilly and Company), and Michael W. Ryan (McDermott Will & Emery LLP).
